Floored by generosity!
Disability Macarthur family support & care is a Not For Profit agency providing support and high quality care programs for children of families in crisis and respite care for children and adults who have special needs arising out of physical and/or intellectual disabilities. They’ve been doing great work in Macarthur for over 33 years!
“We’re very excited by the support we’ve received from the community and the families we work with over the years” says CEO Annamaria Wood “but of late the business community has really come to our rescue to help us manage growth and the need for us to provide additional services and office space.”
The Mac, Macarthur Credit Union, recently made an amazing offer after hearing of the agencies office space dilemma. An office in Somerset Avenue Narellan, that was a blank canvas and sadly in need of a face lift that Disability Macarthur could not afford. “And that’s when we were absolutely astounded by the way businesses came together to support us, InterfaceFlor had no hesitation in supplying all the best carpet tile and installation to help bring this office to life.” Ms Wood enthused “We have Office Builders of Parramatta fitting out the desks, Narellan’s Leisure Lounges creating our foyer furniture and Brush of Class painted from top to bottom. What a generous donation from businesses that have a culture of giving and support for people with disability, it brought tears to our eyes, really!”

InterfaceFlor supplied carpet tile colour coordinated to fit in with the Disability Macarthur colours and they organised the installers. Lomac Commercial Flooring donated the installation of the foyer and entry, whilst teams from Fowlers Carpets & Preferred Flooring worked to get the job done in the large office space at the rear.

The team effort is truly a community effort and Disability Macarthur is very grateful for the support. Marketing Manager Steve Wisbey says “This organisation has a great foundation with over 30 years of community service and I reckon that this office ,with a very stylish InterfaceFlor foundation, will ensure families & people with disability in Macarthur continue to get the best services available for many many more years to come!”
